Statement of Conditions
The foundation for success is preparation. Your organization’s ability to present a comprehensive, well organized assessment of your building’s Life Safety Code deficiencies and the effective management program designed to resolve those deficiencies is critical for high performing results. The SOC is not a formality; when used correctly it moves your organization towards 100% compliance with applicable Life Safety Codes.
We provide our clients with the tools and support necessary to ensure your building tour will be a smooth step within the survey process.
GRM Compliance Services has provided Statement of Conditions (SOC) for hospitals and medical centers throughout the country. We are committed to providing the most comprehensive review of your building to ensure compliance with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code®, 2000 edition, as summarized by The Joint Commission Standards.
What We Do:
Our Team of Life Safety Consultants will perform a detailed Life Safety Assessment (LSA) of your buildings in order to determine compliance with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code®, 2000 edition, as summarized by The Joint Commission Standards.
We will review existing field conditions of rated doors, exit signs, vertical openings, fire extinguishers, fire alarm pull stations, audible/visual appliances, kitchen exhaust hood systems, means of egress, dead end corridors deficiencies, travel distance, and hazardous areas. Issues of noncompliance will be illustrated on drawings (Deficiency Drawings) noting the location and nature of deficiencies.
GRM will develop a preliminary budget and established projected start and completion dates for identified noncompliant issues.
We will assist your organization with the upload of identified PFI items to The JAYCO extranet as mandated by The Joint Commission.
What You Receive:
- Colored copy of Life Safety Plans without Deficiencies
- Colored copy of Life Safety Plans with Deficiencies
- Deficiencies report with preliminary cost estimated
- Plan for Improvement (PFI) Worksheets
- The Statement of Conditions is typically the first document requested during a Life Safety Survey. Have confidence that your survey will get off on the right foot.
